You will soon begin to see tremendous changes taking place on Edwards, Eglin, Eielson, Hurlburt Field, McConnell, and Seymour Johnson Air Force bases. In partnership with the U.S. Air Force, Corvias developed a 50-year plan for the six bases that will improve the quality of life for service members and their families. Improvements at your base may include new construction or renovation of existing homes.
Corvias Military Living understands that public-private housing partnerships are about more than building homes — it’s about creating quality communities for the next 50 years and beyond. We will focus on the families at each base, design and construct homes that service members and families are proud to live in, provide amenities needed and wanted by today’s military families and great customer service.
The bulk of construction and development activity will occur during the Initial Development Period (IDP), which is the first five years of the project. During the IDP, Corvias Military Living will build 1,308 homes in total across six bases, while renovating 1,077 and demolishing 1,279 homes.
In addition, every base will receive a tailored recreational amenity plan as well as a centralized community center that serves as the center of the neighborhood and provides both recreational and management services. The community center and recreational facilities contribute to the community character, family pride and long-term sustainability of each family housing community. Our conveniently located, state-of-the-art facilities will offer pools, workout facilities, multi-media rooms and more.
At the end of the IDP, we will provide superior customer service to families in 3,447 homes at the six bases.
