The Christmas holiday may be over, but the excitement has just begun. Corvias Military Living is happy to announce the opening of our Eielson Air Force Base model homes!
Everyone is cordially invited to attend the open house on Thursday, January 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The festivities will include food, tours and prizes. Any Eielson AFB resident who brings an eligible friend to the open house can enter a raffle for a new 50-inch flat screen television, a new twin bunk bed frame or $500 cash! Both the resident and non-resident can participate in the contest! An eligible friend is anyone who is an active-duty service member, National Guard, reservist, federal civil service employee, retired military or retired DOD employee that does not live in Corvias housing at Eielson AFB. The prizes will be determined by raffle.
The model homes will showcase the amenities and advantages of living on Eielson AFB. The homes are located at 2188C Midnight Sun in French Creek and 607C North Street in Century Park South. The three and four-bedroom homes will remain open throughout the event. Corvias team members will be present in each home to answer questions or conduct tours. The event is open to everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, you can call us at 907-372-2300 or stop by the Community Office.
Again, thank you for your service and sacrifice to our nation.

Break out the ice skates and mittens; the outdoor ice rink in family housing is open! The facility is free of charge to base residents and is located south of Kodiak Street near building 672. We only ask that skaters fill out and sign an ice skating waiver at the Community Office in Amber Hall, Suite 215. All skaters under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet while skating. Be safe and have fun. The rink is open Monday to Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. and on the weekend from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Corvias Community Office at Eielson Air Force Base will be closed on Monday, January 19 in commemoration of Martin Luther King Day. Corvias maintenance staff will be on call throughout the holiday. Please contact 907-372-2302 for all maintenance and emergency issues. For additional information, please call 907-372-2300 or stop by the Community Office
As responsible snow mobile operators, please be careful as you drive through housing to get to the authorized riding areas on the base. The speed limit in the housing area is 5 mph. Driving a snow mobile on streets or parking areas in housing should be limited to crossing the area perpendicular to the traffic flow. Keep our neighborhoods beautiful by parking snow machines and other recreational vehicles in a neat and orderly fashion in the driveway or on section of snow-covered lawn. In addition, trailers cannot be parked in family housing longer than 48 hours.
A friendly reminder from Corvias; snow removal from the driveway and sidewalk is the resident’s responsibility, unless the resident is enrolled in the Deployed Airman Snow Removal Program. According to the Resident Responsibility Guide, hard pack ice on the driveway is acceptable as long as the ice is relatively flat, not slippery and does not pose a hazard to property or people. Residents should also refrain from pushing snow from the driveway into the road. Pushing the snow into the street creates a hard-pack bump that creates a hazard for drivers and pedestrians. Do not use ice melt or salt on your walks or driveway; it can damage the roadway, rust vehicles and create ice pot holes. These simple steps will help keep our neighborhood streets, sidewalks and drives safe for everyone.
Corvias makes the disposal of your real Christmas tree easy. Just place the old tree on the curb with the rest of the trash on your scheduled trash day. French Creek, Moose Lake, Raven's Wood and Broadway trash pickup is on Monday. Century Park North, South and Galaxy Height trash pickup is on Wednesday. Place the tree with any other bulk trash items before 6:30 a.m. on the morning of your scheduled trash service and we’ll take care of the rest.
