Corvias Military Living has been at Edwards Air Force Base over a year now, but our commitment to serve our airmen and their families has never been greater. Corvias has now launched a Facebook page and we would like to invite you to join the page. We are dedicated to continuously improving our service to our residents and are dedicated to providing exemplary customer service.
This is a great opportunity for military service members, families and Corvias to communicate in a social media environment. We will post pictures, links, videos and general information. This will be another way Corvias can serve you, the greatest customers on the earth.
Not only can Corvias tidy up your calendar through Facebook, but it can help tidy up your home on base. It’s time for kick off summer with a home in tip top shape! In addition to the pickup of household refuse, residents can also place bulk trash items at the curb on your scheduled collection day. The trash pickup schedule is as follows.
- Thursday– Mountain View, Mesquite Meadows and Joshua Acres
- Friday – Juniper Ridge, Tamarisk Plains, Acacia Hills and Palo Verde
As always, if you have any questions or concerns we are here for you. You can call us at 661-385-6060 or stop by the Community Office. We would love to see you.
Thank you for living with us and allowing us to serve you,
You asked and we listened. Facebook provides an extension of your community and another way for us to better serve you. You will find information about your community, receive important reminders and updates, learn about resources, view housing tips and so much more on the page. Come on over and like us.
Plus, supercharge your social experience with us and like the Corvias Military Living Facebook page as well. We will you there!
Beginning July 6, Corvias Military Living will be building new block wall trash enclosures on the side of the homes located in the Mesquite Meadows neighborhood. Construction will take approximately five days for each enclosure. We will not need access to your home or garage; however, we ask that you remove any items that could impede our access to the side of your home. This project will continue through the end of August. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the community office at 661-385-6060.
During the summer months, it is important not to forget your furry family members. Pets are a welcomed addition to Corvias family housing, so please follow these guidelines to help keep your pet healthy this summer.
- Dogs kept in fenced back yards require plenty of fresh water to stay cool in the warmer months.
- If your dog is not in a fenced backyard, use a leash for their safety and the consideration of your neighbors.
- Dogs are not permitted to be the tethered outside of your homes.
- All animals are required to be registered through the base vet services and with your Corvias Community Office upon move-in.
Please refer to your Resident Responsibility Guide for additional information regarding the pet policies while residing with Corvias.
Your Corvias community office has a Lost and Found for misplaced and lost treasures. Did you lose an item and can’t seem to find it anywhere? Stop by your community office and search our Lost and Found.
Physical activity is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle for individuals and families. Thirty minutes of vigorous activity is recommended for adults while children need 60 minutes of play with moderate to vigorous activity level. The combination of physical activity and healthy food choices can help prevent a variety of diseases, maintain a healthy weight, build lean muscle and promote strong bone, muscle and joint development.
Individuals and families can incorporate fun and engaging activities into their everyday routine to help reach their physical activity goals. As summer approaches and you start to plan your summer vacations, think about planning an active vacation. Going to the beach? Instead of merely going to the beach, look for other activities such as fishing excursions, sports activities or biking along the beach you can include into your vacation time. Planning a trip to another city? Explore the city through a walking tour, skate at the local park, visit the zoo or amusement park. Camping is another active vacation that can challenge your physical activity while still having a great time relaxing.
There are many activities ranging from swimming, walking / running or biking you can do within your local community to help get you and your family active. For more information about the local activities click here.
How do you get rid of “energy vampires?” Unplug appliances that are not in use. Do not leave them in standby mode
Your community calendar can help you stay up-to-date on trash, recycling, lawn care, resident events and community activities.
You can even sync your community calendar with a personal Google calendar by clicking on the +Google button on the bottom right-hand corner of the calendar.
