Corvias plans to build a Community Center over the next few years. We would like your input on what amenities you would like to see in it! We believe it is important to build it with our residents in mind and bring you something that you feel the base needs! We have ideas from a splash pad all the way up to an indoor skydiving area! Feel free to aim high with your ideas and we will take all of them into consideration.
You can fill out our Community Center Survey here! The Survey will close May 1st, 2016 at midnight.
Thirty years ago, President Ronald Reagan recognized the importance of military spouse contributions to the morale and readiness of our nation’s service members. In 1999, Congress designated the first Friday before Mother’s Day as National Military Spouse Appreciation Day. This year on May 9, we continue to recognize and show appreciation to the silent force, behind the force, for their steadfast support and sacrifice.
As a nation, we salute spouses for their commitment, dedication and patriotism. Military spouses wear many hats while juggling family separations, employment uncertainties and frequent relocations. Yet, they still find time and strength to volunteer in our communities and manage the home front.
Corvias Military Living salutes our military spouses for your service and commitment! Thank you for the many selfless contributions and sacrifices in supporting our service members.

It’s that time of the year again when we start to see quite a few moose in the neighborhoods, and possibly even foxes or coyotes/wolves, sometimes even a bear! It’s important to remember that it is NOT SAFE to approach these animals when you see them. Admire from afar (preferably inside of a home/car). Be aware of your surroundings when you are taking a walk outdoors, especially with pets! Moose sightings are a daily occurrence here in Alaska and often they will have their young with them, whom they are very protective over! Here are more safety tips while you are around wildlife.
Don’t forget! Applications for the Corvias Foundation $5,000 Educational Grants for spouses of active-duty service members are due Thursday, May 5th. The application is available online at corviasfoundation.org.
